The Blue and White Scholastic Foundation will again sponsor Pasta Dinners during “The Big Time” Celebration.  This year’s Big Time runs from Tuesday, July 20, through Saturday, July 24, and is held right outside of Pius X High School.

The Pasta Dinners are served under a tent in an outdoor Italian Bistro atmosphere. Proceeds from dinners served during the five evenings benefit the students at Pius X. The Pasta Tent organizers are looking for volunteers to help staff the tent and/or monetary donations from every family with students in Pius X. Please contact Lynn Bacon at 908-343-1269 and say you can help out. MORE

“For these kids, what an accomplishment,” Royal Baseball Coach Anthony Casciano said. “We were never a district champ, and we accomplished that this year. I’m so proud of these kids.”DSC_0525

That was Coach Casciano’s comments as the Royals closed out their extremely successful season (17-6) just one game out of the PIAA Class A title game. Christopher Dock beat Pius 4-2 in a PIAA Class A semifinal at Muhlenberg High School in Reading.

DSC_0536“The entire school community is extremely proud of these young men and their coaching staff,” said Pius Principal Jim Angeline. “They took us farther than we’ve ever been before, showing their talents, stamina, determination and good sportmanship. We applaud each and everyone on the team and thank them for their hard work and great play!”
